Let’s get to know each other!

I was recently looking at my blog and OH MY GOSH! I noticed that I had recently acquired quite a few new followers, which is SUPER exciting! Hi new followers! Glad you are reading along! So with that in mind I decided to do this survey that I have seen going around from time to time so that you all can get to know me a bit (or a bit more than you already do?).

This survey was created by Jamie over at Perpetual Page Turner

Author you’ve read the most books from:

JK Rowling! Is that even a surprise. I mean there are 7 Harry Potter Books, plus I have definitely read stuff like Fantastic Beasts AND if you count her as Robert Galbraith…I would guess then I have read AT LEAST 10 books by her.

Best Sequel Ever:

SO HARD! But I honestly think that Lady Thief by AC Gaughen was fantastic. You should know that I am obsessed with her Scarlet series and am still sad that it is over!

Currently Reading:

Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini

Drink of Choice While Reading:

I typically don’t drink a lot when I read. Sometimes water or tea but otherwise that’s it.

Ereader or Physical Book?

I love my physical books, but I also love ebooks and really just want to be able to read in the end.

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:

Honestly…probably Neville. Because he seems like a nice guy and just a touch nerdy. But I am not 100% sure on this.

Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:

Gates of Thread and Stone by Lori M Lee

Hidden Gem Book:

First Year (The Black Mage #1) by Rachel E Carter. This was a book I had put off for a bit because I wanted to read it but it just kept getting pushed back. But MAN am I glad I finally got to it. It was exactly what I needed at the time! A fun, adventurous read with SO MUCH MORE coming at it in book 2 I assume. In case you missed it, I talked about it a couple months ago.

Important Moment in your Reading Life:

Honestly, just reading with my family. My mom always encouraged reading for when I was bored or when I needed to relax a bit. She would make library trips a normal and fun thing. There isn’t just one moment where reading made a HUGE impact to me, because I think it just all started right off the bat when I was little.

Just Finished:

Things We Know by Heart by Jessi Kirby (ok…I have like 15 minutes of the audiobook left still but oh well)

Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:

I tend to stay away from really intense Sci-Fi books. I am not really sure why but I just can’t do them. I also can’t do a lot of romance (there has to be more to the plot than romance and honestly…I don’t like it when it gets even the slightest bit raunchy).

Longest Book You’ve Read:

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. How many pages was that book??? 870.

Major book hangover because of:

The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh (it was SO good guys. So good. Like I still think about it)

Number of Bookcases You Own:

Technically 5 but 2 are broken and 1 came with the apartment.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Any of the Harry Potter books. I have read each one AT LEAST 2-3 times.

Preferred Place To Read:

Honestly…in my bed. It’s the most comfortable spot to be.

Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:

“The important people in our lives leave imprints. They may stay or go in the physical realm, but they are always there in your heart, because they helped form your heart. There’s no getting over that.” Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan

Reading Regret:

Probably waiting so long to continue on in a series. I seem to always be drawing it out and waiting because I never want it to end.

Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):

Oh man, too many! One that comes to mind right away is the Graceling Realm series

Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:

The Great Gatsby, Ella Enchanted, Scarlet series.

Unapologetic Fangirl For:

Sarah J Maas! I love all her books so far and cannot wait to get my hands on ALL the others.

Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:

QUEEN OF SHADOWS! I NEED IT NOW!

Worst Bookish Habit:

Uhm…not finishing out a series? I mean I don’t dog-ear, I don’t eat when I read. I think that would be it.

X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:

Matilda! I love that book!

Your latest book purchase:

I just pre-ordered Queen of Shadows and Vengeance Road a couple weeks ago so I think that counts right?

ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):

Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan. I just HAD to know how it was all going to end!

This was a VERY tricky little survey to do, but I did it! Sometimes it’s hard to choose just ONE thing to be an answer. I really do enjoy doing this. It’s relaxing for me and fun to talk about books and other things we all kind of love. I hope that you enjoy reading my blog as well.

Not really sure how else to end this…do we have any answers in common from this survey?
