Obviously some people are not huge fans, and I realize that it can get incredibly hot and you just want to sit in a cold pool and be done with it, but you have to admit…it is the best time to pick up a book. You should definitely get a copy of it! It was a lot of fun and the whole series is out now (and I definitely need to finish it…I need more time in the day.).

Great list! I loved the Lunar Chronicles, and I recently bought The Wrath and the Dawn. It’s currently sitting on my ever growing TBR list, and clicking through these TTT posts are certainly not shrinking that pile, lol.

So many books! Of these I’ve read Cinder and Salt To The Sea, both of which I enjoyed but didn’t absolutely love. I have Scarlet on my TBR, I’m looking forward to reading it at some point. The Star Touched Queen looks amazing, I just haven’t got round to it yet!

Definitely recommend The Star-Touched Queen! It was such an interesting book and I loved the fact it was based off of Indian folklore which I haven’t really delved into before.

Scarlet is one of my all time favorites. I was (and still am) obsessed with the series. It was just a fun Robin Hood retelling that I got super invested in. The Star Touched Queen was beautiful, and I hope you get to read them both soon!

I love Scarlet so so much and I was very excited when I saw it on your list because I’ve actually never seen it around the blogosphere and I feel like it’s a very underestimated/underrated book! And I actually just finished Shadow and Bone and absolutely loved it! Can’t wait to continue on with the series. I also keep seeing the Princess Bride around all the time but never actually picked it up which is insane. Definitely adding it to my summer TBR! Thanks for sharing your list! Hope you have a wonderful week!

That is a book I am slowly starting to see people talking about, but I just am sitting here trying not to flail too much when talking about Scarlet because it is a favorite series of mine. Ahhhhh the Grisha trilogy just gets better and better. Hope you finish it! Thanks for stopping by!

Love this post! It looks like we have a lot of books in common; I also rec’d The Wrath & the Dawn, and The Martian and Shadow and Bone are some of my favorite recent reads. (The humor in The Martian is my life, dear Lord.) I actually have to read Salt to the Sea and The Great Gatsby for school, and I’m pretty excited for them! Ooh, I may have to check out A Discovery of Witches. That cover is gorgeous! Other books I’m planning on reading this summer include Note to Self by Connor Franta, Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh, and Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia.
