Top Ten Tuesday is always what gets me out of any sort of blogging slump I feel like I am a part of, and this week is no different. This week we are talking about all the different things that we have read about in books that we think we may want to learn and do because of what we have read.
- Learn how to throw knives (inspired by Scarlet by AC Gaughen).
- Learn to shoot an arrow (inspired by The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins).
- Learn some survival skills (inspired by The Island by S. Usher Evans).
- Binge read old comic books (inspired by Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell).
- Make a list and stick to it (inspired by Going Vintage by Lindsey Leavitt).
- Write a story (just not fanfic)(inspired by Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell).
- Play softball again (this probs won’t happen) (inspired by Diamond Ruby by Joseph Wallace).
- Go to an Austen themed resort (inspired by Austenland by Shannon Hale).
- Do a steampunk cosplay (inspired by Boneshaker by Cherie Priest).
- Make a difference in someone’s life (inspired by All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven).
What are some things that books you have read and loved have made you want to learn or do? Anything you want to join me in?
I wrote that I wanted to go into the hunger games arena for just one day! And learn how to use a wand/magic in Harry Potter 😂 I like your choices! I would definitely want to be able to shoot an arrow 🙂

Ha oh my gosh. I would never want to go into the hunger games arena for a day. I would most definitely die. But more props to you! And yes! I decided to make a few cuts and HP was one of them sadly. Ha thanks for reading!

I’m not a big Austen fan but I would LOVE to go to an Austen-themed resort… or any kind of themed resort at all. Harry Potter would be best, just because I have such a clear idea of what I’ll do there, haha. Great choices! I’d also love to learn to shoot an arrow.
Here’s my list. 😀

Exactly! Pottermore comes a bit closer to my imagination but it’s still virtual. 😛

I loved Austenland! I have Fangirl and Eleanor & Park already on my to-read list. I’ll be adding Going Vintage and Diamond Ruby.
There is a Harry Potter place in England–Universal owns it? Friends went

I, too, dream of going [back] to England. I went on a tour with my Grandmother at age 14 (1977). So much left to see and experience.

Bahaha I have a feeling I will never actually learn those skills. So no need to be scared.

Oh my gosh, sign me up for an Austen-themed resort. That would be a dream! And it would be so cool to do a steampunk cosplay. So many possibilities! Great list this week.

So many people want to learn how to throw knives – remind me not to get on anyone’s bad side *gulps*
