Top Ten Tuesday: 2016 Releases

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

Can you believe the year is nearly half over already!? I sure can’t. Even with it’s ups and downs this year had definitely been flying by. This week we are counting down the 2016 releases for the 2nd half of the year that we are excited for. For my particular list it will be for books released any time in July 2016-December 2016. Oh man, and there are some HIGHLY anticipated ones guys. Just you wait. I started my list with series continuations/enders (two of which have been preordered and I. am. pumped.) and then the rest are either standalones or series starters…

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany

PREORDERED. (Release date July 31st, 2016…HARRY POTTER’S BIRTHDAY!)

Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass #5) by Sarah J Maas

PREORDERED. (Release date September 6th, 2016)

The Beauty of Darkness (The Remnant Chronicles #3) by Mary Pearson

(Release date August 2nd, 2016)

The Midnight Star (The Young Elites #3) by Marie Lu

(Release date October 11th, 2016)

Frost Like Night (Snow Like Ashes #3) by Sara Raasch

(Release date September 20th, 2016)

Glitter by Aprilynne Pike

(Release date October 25th, 2016)

Heartless by Marissa Meyer

(Release date November 8th, 2016)

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

(Release date September 20th, 2016)

A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess

(Release date September 20th, 2016)

Ever the Hunted by Erin Summerill

(Release date December 27th, 2016)

As you can see, I mostly stick to one particular genre. I am definitely in the market for recommendations, especially in the contemporary and historical fiction area of my reading.

What are some books you are looking forward to that have yet to come out this year?
